Bminer 12.0.1 support mining Grin and has 100% performance improvement on the beam miner

We are happy to announce Bminer 12.0.1, The release provides:

• Experimental support mining Grin on NVIDIA GPUs.
• 100% performance improvement on the beam miner on NVIDIA GPUs compared to 11.4.1.

Notes: Currently Bminer only supports the Cuckaroo29 algorithm.

Grin mining on stock settings:

• 5.30 Sol/s on GTX 1080Ti
• 3.33 Sol/s on GTX 1070
• 2.00 Sol/s on GTX 1060 6G

Beam mining on stock settings:

• 30 Sol/s on GTX 1080Ti
• 21 Sol/s on GTX 1070
• 12 Sol/s on GTX 1060 6G

Mining Grin (Grin)

Currently bminer only supports the Cuckaroo29 algorithm. There are a few things that need to be customized for your own usages:

• Substitute bminergrin with your own GRIN address.
• Substitute worker to your worker name.
• Substitute foo to your password.

Currently bminer only supports the Cuckaroo29 algorithm. For example:

bminer -uri cuckaroo29://bminergrin.worker:foo@grin.f2pool.com:8898

Mining Beam (BEAM)¶

The following section describes a few sample usages of mining BEAM (BEAM). There are a few things that need to be customized for your own usages:

• Substitute 3a13205ec464807c9400f0fde8d56ac49da03bb3812055f08844fe2eaf0b9166with your own BEAM address.
• Substitute worker to your worker name.

Bminer currently provides supports for mining BEAM. For example:

bminer -uri beam+ssl://3a13205ec464807c9400f0fde8d56ac49da03bb3812055f08844fe2eaf0b9166.worker@beam.sparkpool.com:2222
