(2) Launcher Version

Program Preparation

  1. Visit Bminer’s official website to download the Launcher-version software for Windows. As is shown in the following figure, the version on the first line headed by No.1 is the Launcher version.

2. Locate the downloaded Bminer and extract it.

3. Open the extracted file.

Note: Versions no lower than Bminer 7.0.0 are available for ETH’s solo mining, and versions no lower than Bminer 8.0.0 for dual mining of ETH.

There are 2 versions for Windows:

Lite version realizes mining via editing bat documents while Launcher version achieves mining through editing parameters on operation interface.

Editing ETH’s Mining Settings

Step 1: Open Bminer-launcher.exe.

Step 2: Select Opening Dual Mining Mode (No.1) as enable.

Step 3: Choose the according mining pools’ protocol based on the field of SCHEME (No.2).

Note: Different ETH pools adopt dissimilar protocols. Therefore, please kindly visit Bminer’s official website to search for the protocols corresponding to commonly used mining pools.

Take the following for an example:

The protocol field corresponding to F2pool is ethproxy, and that to nanopool is ethash.

Step 4: Fill in the addresses of pools (No.3). Take nanopool for an example: eth-us-west1.nanopool.org can be filled in.

Step 5: Input mining pools’ ports (No.4, generally, the last number in the address of a certain mining pool), such as “9999” (the address port of this mining pool). Every mining pool corresponds to a certain port, so make sure the right port is filled in!

Step 6: Enter the wallet address (No.5). Wallet address is an address you individually apply for. If the currency you are mining is ETH, then you should fill in the wallet address of ETH. Accordingly, if it is XVG, then the wallet address of XVG is required.

Editing XVG’s Mining Settings

Step 1: Choose the according XVG protocol based on SCHEME field (No.1).

Step 2: Fill in the address of the mining pool (No.2), taking xvg.blake2s.com for an example.

Step 3: Input the port information (No.3), taking 8888 for an example.

Step 4: Enter the wallet address (No.4), taking DDXKDhq73GRM3hjh6uexxxxxxxxxxxxx for an example.

Step 5: Click “Start” (No.5) to start dual mining.
